Committee on Communications

Charge:

The Committee is charged with:

• Assisting with maintaining a consistent social media presence for the Society.
• Building communication, enthusiasm, and brand-awareness of the AOS.
• Working with other AOS committees on special initiatives.
• Making suggestions for website improvements.

Composition:

The Committee on Communications consists of four Active members, one appointed each year by the Council. The most senior member will serve as Chair of this committee and will rotate off after their year as Chair.  Acceptance of this position indicates an intention to engage in social media activities and other special projects as assigned.

Process:

This committee will meet virtually on an ad hoc basis throughout the year to ensure a consistent flow of social media from the AOS, as well as developing new initiatives.
