Each oral presenter will be sent a unique link to upload their slide presentation in advance of the meeting. Click here to view more specific audio visual instructions.

Poster presentations will take place during the morning breaks on Friday and Saturday mornings. Poster authors are assigned to one of the two poster sessions, and are asked to stand near their poster to field questions and discuss their work. Instructions for poster presenters are available here.

Dr. David Tse, Chair of the Committee on Programs, and Dr. Anne Coleman, Council Chair, have been hard at work preparing an exciting program for the 153rd year meeting of this unique Society. The meeting will kick off with the AOS-Knapp Symposium on Optic Nerve Regeneration and Reconnection: Current Status, Challenges and Audacious Future Goals, and the Saturday Symposium will focus on Quality of Care: Improvement Based on Evidence.  The third Frederick C. Blodi Lecture will be presented by Dr. Joseph Caprioli on A New Look at Perimetry for Glaucoma.

Paper and Poster abstract presentations will be presented throughout the meeting, and CME credits will be offered this year.

The American Academy of Ophthalmology designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The AOS will be hosting social events again this year, including tennis tournaments, golf and skeet shooting! You will be able to register for these special events when meeting registration opens in February.

There will be a formal Thursday evening reception welcoming the new AOS members to the Society, as well as a fun Friday night reception with the 3rd annual musical event organized by Dr. Susan Day. And don't forget the Saturday night formal reception and banquet where the athletic awards and the prestigious Howe Medal Award are presented. This will surely be a night to remember.
